Horizon Europe is the EU’s key funding programe for research and innovation with a budget of €95.5 billion, and the successor of Horizon 2020. It tackles climate change, helps to achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and boosts the EU’s competitiveness and growth. Most of the funding is allocated based on competitive calls for proposals, set out in work programs.
